Grays and Torreys, Colorado’s Front range
Grays and Torreys, Colorado’s Front range
A baby mountain goat and it’s parents sharing your trail. A dozen varieties of wildflowers forming a mile-long gauntlet of welcome. Thick, spitting fog shrouding the upper two thousand feet of your twin goals: Colorado’s eighth and ninth tallest peaks. A quick enough hike whose trailhead is close enough to Idaho Springs to hit up BeauJo’s Mountain Pies for a recovery lunch. Life is good.
On this trip: Jacob and I. You can see I got caught up in the wildflowers.
